How to proceed to make the apple decoction?

Wash the apple thoroughly, cut it into four wedges without peeling. Remove only the core and cut it into further pieces with a diameter of about 2 cm.

Put the apple in a pot, add the water (and any herbs such as bay leaf or mint) and bring and boil. As soon as it boils, lower the heat and reduce the liquid until about half is left.
